Bonjour Val Guichon,

Peux-tu te présenter un petit peu ?
Par présenter, j'aimerais juste que tu expliques au moins comment tu es arrivée sur ce forum et ce qui t'intéresse dans l'abandonware.
Il n'y a pas de sujet "présentation" sur ce forum et donc, tu peux tout simplement répondre dans ton actuel sujet.

Page minimaliste et sujets interrogatifs... laissant les sujets ouverts...
Le "Libre" est à associer à la communication en mobilité.

Et non dans le sens "Libre" de droit, associatifs et collégial.

Même si l'éducation des masses, passe par une mise en commun des projets...

Mais, apparemment, les futurs chercheurs cherchent encore comment organiser cette conférence!

Et "Libre", ne veut pas dire "mobile", mais "FreeWare".
Donc, une somite en la matière, caché par une barbe de 40ans...

Rennes a de la chance de pouvoir héberger une telle sommité.
Mais, je n'ai qu'une chose à lui demander...

"Que pensez-vous de la dérive commerciale qui a dénaturé l'appellation freeware, autrefois philanthropique? (jeux sur mobile avec options payantes, compte paypal associés au programme)"

"Le gratuit n'est-il pas devenu aussi lucratif que le Shareware moribond?"

"Le logiciel gratuit en GPL est-il un programme que l'on paye en points de prestige...à chaque réédition?"

"Le freeware est-il devenu une norme de produits hasardeux et bas de gamme, qui peut, faute de mieux, remplacer les logiciels professionnels?"

Voilà, c'est aujourd'hui.
:shock:

Organisation pauvre, communication non suivie...

Université en faillite, avec 10 ans de retard et des initiatives privatives et fermées.

Oui, de nos jours, une conférence non diffusée sur le net, sur Skype... ou autre flux vidéo... et un comble pour une université sensé promouvoir les technologies de communications novatrices!

Faillite intellectuelle, faillite financière et faillite éducative.
Ces université qui se complaisent dans leur isolement, leur torpeur et leur satisfaisance, semblent ne plus vouloir partager leurs projets.

Ce manque d'ouverture, de satisfaction représentative et fierté, font des universités françaises, des organismes d'états détachées des réalités économiques, sociales et financières.

C'était un bon moyen de se faire connaitre, de partager une philosophie et de ce placer dans un créneau d'éducation dynamique et "inventive"...

Mais, non... ce "Richard Stallman" semble être un visiteur trop encombrent pour une structure qui a la volonté de rester suffisante, anonyme et anecdotique; pour ne pas dévoiler la pauvreté des projets entamés.

Ces universités qui ne savent pas se vendre, avoir une place crédible dans l'industrie et démontrer un savoir faire technologique... nous montrent une vitrine bien vide.

L'austérité et la pauvreté de leur site web est une véritable honte pour cette université, qui sera visité par les futurs employeurs de ces élèves 'ingénieurs'...

Une honte à la française, que l'on essaie d'exporter aux Etats-Unis, par l'intermédiaire de "Richard Stallman".

Les pauvres français...

J'ai été méchant. Mais, je ne comprends pas que ces "jeunes" techniciens... ou pas... ne prennent pas le temps de "s'amuser" d'événements pareils!

C'était un mercredi, donc tout le monde travaillait, et donc peu de visiteurs extérieurs.

Cet invité est une somite et un précurseur dans le domaine de l'évolution de l'informatique et de l'éduction des autodidactes.

Et les étudiants ne se réjouissent pas de pouvoir toucher du doigt cet homme!

Le Freeware ne paye pas:

Nous somme dans une période de jouissance égoïste, qui consiste à prendre, installer et utiliser, sans remerciement d'aucune sorte... c'est gratuit...Donc je prends!

Car dans les faits, les retours d'utilisateurs sont très rares et la reconnaissance du travail effectué quasi inexistante.

Seul un faible pourcentage de personnes envoient spontanément des remerciements!
... Et dans le cas des ShareWares, un grand nombre de personnes se satisfassent de la démo.

L'idée d'utilisation gratuite est associée au piratage, et donc l'idée de contacter l'auteur est inenvisageable!

Dans les esprits, ne pas payer un logiciel, c'est aller en prison!
Donc, on utilise, et on ne dit rien.

Je contacte volontiers les auteurs de logiciels pour les remercier, et j'ai même eu une invitation à faire une donation "paypal", alors que je proposais une aide technique à l'auteur... mais en général, les auteurs sont agréablement surpris, qu'enfin leur travail soit reconnu.

Mais, généralement, les messages ne sont pas directement liés au programme... et portent sur des anecdotes... pour ne pas trahir l'utilisation du dit programme.

Donc, programmer des logiciels gratuits n'est pas une source de reconnaissance éternelle... mais une attente des retours d'expérience ... qui ne viendront jamais.

Programmer un logiciel gratuit n'est pas un acte naturel, et ne vaut que si son auteur s'amuse à le faire... et surtout, s'il lui est utile... car il sera peut-être le seul à l'utiliser autant!

... Oui, tout ça pour dire que Richard Stallman a proposé l'idée de donner une identité à ces créateurs, et donner un nom à des codes... pour que les contributeurs aient un pédigrée et un historique des ajouts des auteurs respectifs, pour un meilleur respect de la genèse des programmes.

Les talant ne se masquent plus, mais s'ajoutent!
Et chacun donne une plus value au programme adopté.
C'est là ... que s'arrête l'idéalisme du gratuit.

Dans les faits, une "licence" juridique, non reconnue par la justice doit être émise avec le programme.
En fait, elle ressemble plus à une charte qu'un avis juridique!

Aucun site pour enregistrer les propriétés intellectuelles, les contributeurs...et les changements de propriétaire... seulement des sites d'hébergement comme source forge.

Donc pas de base de donnée structurant le statut de logiciel participatif.

Et pourtant... la programmation cumulative semble fonctionner, car citer les contributeurs respectifs, est passer dans les habitudes des programmeurs (ce qui met tout le monde d'accord).

Bon, j'avoue n'avoir jamais pris le temps de tout lire.
Et selon moi, cela rend juridique un état factuel.

Pire, ce contrat décrit le gratuit comme un produit commercial offert avec contraintes morales.
... l'usine à gaz qui nous conte que la gratuité doit être associée à une fondation... qui reçoit de l'argent pour le promouvoir!

J'ai deux programmes... sous cette licence.
Et le jour où l'on ma demandé si il était possible de reprendre mes sources...

Comme aujourd'hui, j'ai ouvert, et j'ai lu les trois premières lignes!
Donc, "Tu mets le fichier à la c**, et c'est bon!"

Les autres programmes de mon cru n'ont AUNCUNE licence.
'Freeware' est un terme suffisant pour moi, et les utilisateurs.

J'apporte les codes, les heures de programmation... et je divise le temps de fabrication par le nombre d'utilisateurs.

Si je passe 100 heures dessus et qu'il y a 1000 utilisateurs... chacun me doit 6 mn de mon temps!
Donc, si il passe 6 mn pour m'envoyer un mail, on est quitte.

Mais, personnellement, je ne préfère pas... car je passerai trop de temps à répondre à tout le monde!

Et promouvoir un "Fondation" qui n'a pas contribuer directement à la création du programme, et qui demande de l'argent pour exister... ça ne me dit pas plus que cela!
Sinon, je fais une "fondation" bidon pour règlementer l'utilisation de la roue, ses sens de rotation et sa qualité... et je fais un site qui demande de l'argent pour m'auto-promouvoir sur chaque roue existante!

Non, l'esprit est louable... mais, le philanthropisme à l'américaine je n'y croie pas trop.

J'ai toujours eu dans l'idée que ce type de "fondations" avaient été crées par les grandes firmes de logiciels informatique, pour y faire des dons afin de réduire leurs impôts au US...
Mais, là, je suis encore mauvaise langue!

Maintenant, si il faut tout légiférer ... ça n'engage que les lecteurs de ces licences!

Pour moi, je fais tout de même une différence entre Freeware et licence libre.
Quand je vois Freeware, je comprends que j'ai le droit de gratuitement utiliser le logiciel.
Quand je vois licence libre, j'en déduis que je peux probablement récupérer les sources, les modifier et créer un nouveau soft sous licence libre.

C'est un peu la même chose avec de la musique.
Si la musique est gratuite, n'importe qui a le droit de l'écouter gratuitement.Avec une licence GPL, on pourrait imaginer que les gens aient en plus le droit de la remixer/modifier pour créer une nouvelle musique.
